Chicken Pox

Chicken pox (Varicella) is a contagious disease common amongst children and one that is dangerous for adults. The source of the disease is a virus from the herpes family that goes by the name of the Varicella Zoster virus. The incubation period from infection until the appearance of the characteristic rash is between 12 – 14 days. A few days prior to the appearance of the rash, the patient can infect others very easily, particularly those that haven’t experienced this disease.

• Add half a cup of brown vinegar to your bath water and soak yourself in for thirty minutes.
• Wipe honey on the infected spots to speed up the recovery process.
• Prepare a mixture of a hundred gram cucumber and seventy gram of coriander. Strain and drink this solution once a day.
• Apply a vitamin E essential oil to your skin to instantly relieve you from blistering.
• Apply sandalwood oil to all rashes for instant relief.
• Make a special tea that is made out of chamomile, basil, marigold, and lemon. Add a dash of salt, a teaspoon of honey, a pinch of cinnamon, and a bit of lemon zest. Drink this tea all throughout the day.
• Put a handful of green peas into boiling water. Let it simmer for ten minutes. Strain and let it cool down. Bathe yourself with this water.
• Drink a lot of carrot juice.
