Corns and Blisters on Feet

Corns are an abnormal thickening of the skin due to constant pressure while walking or moving. The skin can be extremely thick and dry. It can also be painful because it can cause blisters. More often than not, corns are visible on the soles of the feet and hands. It is important that you immediately prevent these from worsening by following these home remedies.

Home remedies for Corns and Blisters on Feet

• Place the inside of a banana skin on the corn and cover it with a bandage. Leave it overnight. Repeat for a few days, until it dries out.
• If painful blisters develop maybe due to new shoes, stitch it with a thin needle and a cotton thread. Leave two centimeters exposed on each side of the blister. The thread stays inside the blister and helps dry out the liquids inside.

• Put half a teaspoon of fresh papaya juice on the affected area three times a day.
• Slice a lemon and put it over your corn. Leave it overnight. Remove the next morning and thoroughly wash it with an anti-bacterial soap and water.
