Dry Skin

Dry skin is a common problem. It is described as the skin being flaky, cracked, and rough to the touch. It is more prevalent during the winter when it is dry outside and the skin loses a lot of moisture. Dry skin can also be caused by a strong soap.

Home remedies for Dry Skin

• Regularly drink a glass of warm milk with two teaspoons of almond oil.
• Crush lemon grass and drink a few times a day.
• Spread avocado on dry skin.
• Spread baby oil on dry skin.
• Fill a bath with milk, add hot water and soak yourself in the mixture for thirty minutes.
• Drink a lot of water, at least eight to ten glasses per day to hydrate your dry skin.
• Make sure you sleep at least eight hours a day to give your skin time to rest and renew itself.
• Eat a lot of fresh fruits and green leafy vegetables.
• Mix honey, egg, rose water, and olive oil until it has a paste like consistency. Apply it to face and arms. Leave it on for fifteen minutes. Rinse thoroughly.
• Combine a teaspoon of egg yolk, rose water, lime juice, olive oil, and orange juice. Apply this mixture to skin like a regular lotion.
• Mix half cup of yogurt with a teaspoon of milk powder and honey. Put it on your face for ten minutes. Wash well.
