Razor Burns (or Pseudofolliculitis barbae, razor bumps, shave bumps, shave burns, PFB) are common and can be experienced by all individuals who shave regularly. These bumps look like tiny pimples that can be slightly painful. It can also be very visible particularly on the face and legs. The good news is, there are wonderful home remedies that can quickly cure this condition.

Home remedies for Razor Burns

* Gently pat the razor burn with a clean cotton pad soaked in apple cider vinegar. This can immediately stop the bleeding.
* Mash two strawberries and mix it with one teaspoon of sour cream. Make it into a paste. Apply this to the affected area and leave it on for ten minutes. Wash with warm water.
* Peel a potato and cover the affected area with a potato skin for ten minutes.
* It would be best if you moist your skin with a warm cloth to open up the pores and soften the surface, making it easier for you to shave without friction that can cause these unsightly bumps.
* Always shave in the direction where your hair grows, not the opposite to avoid razor burns.
