Hiccups

Hiccups are sudden uncontrollable and recurring fluctuations of the muscle on the diaphragm. This results to the voice box being opened and shut in an unnatural and quick fashion.

Home remedies for Hiccups

• Drink two glasses of water in big gulps.
• Hold your breath for a couple of minutes, slowly exhale through the mouth. This can quickly get rid of your hiccups.
• Eat two tablespoons of peanut butter.
• Rinse and gargle your mouth with warm water.
• Slowly eat a cup of regular yoghurt.
• Eat crushed ice.
• Eat a ginger slice like a menthol drop.
