Cholesterol

Cholesterol is an organic compound (Strol and Lipid) found in the cell membrane. Cholesterol plays an important role in bio-chemical processes. There are two types of cholesterol. These are endogenous, which is produced by the body and exogenous, which is from our daily diet. It is of utmost importance that the level of cholesterol is maintained or else, heart problems and other serious diseases will be imminent.

Home remedies for Cholesterol

• Eat lots of artichokes.
• Drink tons of herbal tea with honey and cinnamon.
• Once a day take olive oil and a tablespoon of freshly squeezed lemon juice.
• Eat fresh garlic.
• Drink at least eight to twelve glasses every day.
• Combine coriander seeds in boiling water. Let it simmer for fifteen minutes. Strain and drink while it is warm.
• Mix twelve tablespoons of apple juice and six tablespoons of apple cider vinegar. Stir and drink this solution once a day.
• Make sure you exercise regularly to better control your cholesterol.
• Eat a lot of almonds and walnuts.
• Eat a lot of green leafy salad that is mixed with extra virgin olive oil.
• Stay away from greasy, fatty, and oily foods.
• Replace vegetable oil and butter with olive oil or sunflower oil.
