Psoriasis

Psoriasis is a chronic skin disease where skin cells multiply at an exaggerated rate. The disease is characterized by layers of skin, for the most part with a purplish-red color that are covered with scales.

Home remedies for Psoriasis

• Avoid exposure to the sun and bathe in warm salty water once a day.
• Soak some cotton in Gotu Kola (Centella asiatica) and place it on the affected area. The solution will ease the symptoms and speed up the recovery time. It’s recommended to start off with a small dose and gradually increase the dosage as the plant can cause a rash if too much is applied.
• Simmer thirty grams of burdock seeds and chamomile flowers in a litter of water for twenty minutes. Strain and add some honey. Drink half cup of this solution four times a day.
• Drink a cup of bitter gourd tea mixed with a dash of lime juice twice a day.
• Apply mud packs on the affected area to help speed up the recovery process.
• Combine garlic oil and aloe vera in equal amounts. Generously lather your skin with this solution every morning and every night.
• Put some fresh cabbage leaves on top of the affected area for fifteen minutes three times a day.
